Wesley D. Davis Jr. was born and raised in the Opa-Locka community in Miami, FL. Wesley graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High  School with honors in June of 1997. Wesley attended the Florida A&M University, in Tallahassee, Fl, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Cum Laude in December 2001. Wesley was recruited and hired by the United States Marshals  Service and sworn in as a Deputy U.S. Marshal in April  2002.

In March 2004, Wesley accepted his calling into the preaching ministry under the leadership of Pastor Joseph F. Johnson, Senior Pastor of Mt. Hebron Church Ministries in Mobile, AL. Due to a growing number of high school students, Pastor Johnson asked Wesley and his wife to spearhead a team of young adult married couples to offer ministry and create a curriculum to specifically minister to the needs of these students.

In January 2007, in obedience to the call of faith, Wesley left the U.S. Marshals Service for full time ministry as the Youth Pastor at Mt. Hebron Church Ministries. Under his leadership the Chosen Generation Youth Ministry was established, founded on the Word of God of 1 Peter 2:9. The ministry grew from 60 students to 180 in one year. “Pastor Wes”, as he was affectionately called, hosted an annual Christian assembly at a local high school during school hours with the cooperation of school officials. Pastor Wes Davis participated in the planning and completion of the Bright Spot Youth Activity Center located on Mt. Hebron’s campus. Pastor Davis returned to the U.S. Marshals Service in 2008 to complete his career and would finally retire in 2013 with Congressional and Judicial Honors.

In 2014, Pastor Wesley Davis returned to Mt. Hebron to serve as the Associate and Youth Pastor where he continued to preach and teach the gospel to children and youth of all ages. In December 2015, Pastor Davis was appointed as an Elder of the church and would serve in that capacity along with his duties as Youth Pastor. During his second stint as Youth Pastor, Pastor Davis created a partnership with a total of eight local high schools and middle schools where he would implement the Leadership Training Course which is a mentoring program designed to target the student’s strengths with the hopes of guiding them towards post high school education.

In August 2019, again in obedience to the call of faith, Pastor Davis would leave his position at Mt. Hebron Church ministries and subsequently accept the Senior Pastor position at the Nazaree Full Gospel Church in Mobile, AL on December 3, 2019.

Wesley is a second-generation preacher. His father, the late Rev. Westly D. Davis, Sr. served as the Senior Pastor of the New 79th Street Baptist Church of Miami, FL for 17 years until his untimely death in August 2002.

Wesley is married to the lovely Tiffany Johnson Davis and they have four beautiful children. Victoria, Wesley III “Trey”, Caleb and Bella Christina.
